Toyota 4WD with Qld registration 051-ML8 overtook another car while speeding in the 80kmh zone while I was cycling to work. I've had the same situation on numerous occasions over the years when driving. This driver had no regard for any other road users, proven by the speed at which he caught the car while still in the 70kmh zone, & I estimate his speed to have been 100kmh when he went past me. Despite the broken lines, it's not a safe area to overtake at the best of times.
