3ft min distance as required (and demonstrated) by law
30 Mar, 2021 - 5 years ago - on Indiana Highway 25 On March 30, 2021 at 6:30pm I was bicycling north on SR25 towards Rochester, IN.
At the time when there were no vehicles coming from ahead of me, I was passed at a minimum clearance of approximately 3ft, as required by law. The vehicle passing me could have moved the entire lane over or at least crossed slightly the center lane to enhance safety. Even 3ft clearance at higher speeds is grossly insufficient. .
