Dangerously Close Pass – 20200503_01

In Chicago, while cycling northbound on the shoulder of N. Cumberland Ave. between W. Forest Preserve Drive and W. Addison St., a Dodge RAM van with license plate 2340290 passed dangerously close to me, well short of the legally required three feet distance mandated by Illinois law. At no point did the van slow down or attempt to increase the separation by entering the left northbound lane where other cars were present near the van.
