Didn’t stop on a roundabout

Despite me signalling and being on the right side of the road, the car just keeps on coming onto the roundabout without missing a beat, despite me having right of way. Just about managed to brake in time and go around the back of him. Didn't report, as the last time I had an accident (trying to avoid a car in the wrong) the police were not interested as I did not hit the car !!.
