Fail to Stop on Red

I was riding north on the 144th Street Trail in Omaha. I noticed that traffic was moving North and South on a Greet Light. There were no vehicle stopped at the T intersection on F Street. If there had been any vehicles stopped, I would not have proceeded as I know motorists seldom, almost never, look both way before they turn right on a red light (permitted in our state).

As I start through the intersection using the trail crossing, a black pickup truck appears. He never came to a full stop.

What was interesting, is when he existed the truck and approached me, he was wear a walking boot on his right foot. I am not sure how he could drive wearing that boot.

The video was uploaded as part of the police report. It proved very helpful.

I suffered closed fractures of the tibia and fibula which required surgery and three cracked ribs. The bike was damaged beyond repair and replaced.
