This incident occurred on Ephraim Island Bridge on the Gold Coast QLD Australia. You can see that this car is well within the one metre passing rule, I had to swerve inwards to avoid colliding and at the time of this car passing me, no other vehicles were oncoming. This car got even closer to me on the last speed hump.

This is a shared road, what ever happened to giving way to cyclists? If I had come off the bike it’s likely I would have hit the deep gutter concrete and for sure seriously injured!
