4 Aug, 2022 - 4 years ago - on North Van Ness Boulevard You can see towards the end of the video that there isn't enough room for a vehicle, three feet, and a bicycle all fitting on the width of that road, so legally I can be in the middle of the lane for safety (CVC 21202). On a narrow road like this, riding at the edge encourages drivers to try to squeeze by without giving three feet of space. It's also a neighborhood road, not an arterial.
